    Announcements:

    • There is a ladies auxiliary meeting today (Sept 1) at 2pm.
    • Karen Vailes passed away yesterday. Her funeral is Tuesday, Sept 8 at 11am with visitation beginning at 10am.
    • KFC is this Wednesday at 6:30 PM, with the meal beginning at 6:00 PM. This week’s theme is Hawaiian Night, so come dressed in your wildest, craziest tropical attire! Our lesson will be from Genesis 6-9. We hope to see everyone Wednesday night!
    • Adult Bible Study will meet Wednesday Night at 7pm.
    • We are feeding the Poyen football team on September 4. See Cameron or Shanna if you would like to help.
    • Mark your calendars! Our Fall Revival is scheduled for October 4–7.Please begin praying now that God will prepare the hearts of our church family and community and that He will bless this year's revival in a mighty way.

    • We gave out 8 bags at the food bank last month. Supplies are pretty low in the food pantry. If you would like to donate, please see Heather Dunn. Items needed: Peanut Butter, Cream of soup, boxes of instant oatmeal, evaporated milk, Ramon Noodles, canned vegetables, instant potatoes, mac-n-cheese, mild rotel, tomato sauce, taco seasoning, dried beans, and bags of rice.
    • Operation Christmas Child is collecting personal care items for the month of August. This could include hairbrushes, combs, wash cloths, first aid kits, nail kits, or deodorant. Thank you for helping us fill shoeboxes one month at a time! If you have any questions, please see Charlotte Shoptaw or Chrystin Smith.
    • If you keep copies of old bulletins, we need your help. We are looking for bulletins from 2024 and 2025. These can be given to Bro. Neal, Kevin or Heather Dunn.

    Prayerfully consider the Bible reading project that Bro. Neal has presented to us.
