Announcements:
• The last night of VBS is this Wednesday Night. This year’s theme is “Illumination Station—Shining a Light on Who Jesus Is.”
To allow more adults to participate, there will be no Adult Bible Study this week. We encourage everyone to come out, spend time with the kids, and help make it a great night for them.
• As part of a growing church, it is important to occasionally take stock of ourselves and discover the areas of service to the Lord in which our members are interested and willing to serve. Jesus set the perfect example for us by serving others, and there are many areas where you can serve here at Sweet Home. Please take a few minutes to prayerfully complete this survey and let us know where you would like to be involved.
• Continuing this Wednesday, parents are asked to drive to the back of the building and drop students off at the rear entrance of Goodman Hall. This is also where pick up will be. Adults will be available to assist with this process. We also ask that children not be allowed in the parking lot without adult supervision at any time.
• Amber and Tanner and baby Blair are doing good. Blair weighed 6lbs 9oz and was 19 ½” long. Congratulations!
• Operation Christmas Child is collecting school supplies for the month of July.
Thank you for helping us fill shoeboxes one month at a time! If you have any questions, please see Charlotte Shoptaw or Chrystin Smith.
• We are in charge of drinks again this year for the Prattsville Fourth of July Celebration. Drinks can be dropped off on the porch of the Goodman Hall. See Camron, Bro. Neal or Scott Holinger if you would like to make a monetary donation. Please have these out at the church by Friday afternoon. Dollar General has Coke products buy 3 12 packs for $12 this week.
• There is a display board in the sanctuary foyer featuring items that are needed for our church kitchen. If you would like to help, take a card from the board, purchase the listed item, and return it to the kitchen. Thank you for helping us keep our kitchen well-stocked and ready to serve our church family and guests!
• Mark your calendars! Our Fall Revival is scheduled for October 4–7.
During the recent business meeting, the church voted to invite one of the following men to serve as our evangelist: Darren Clements, Robert Ewing, John David Watson, and Terry Williams. Bro. Don Goodman and Dennis Blackerby were selected as alternate speakers should one of the primary choices be unavailable.
Please begin praying now that God will prepare the hearts of our church family and community and that He will bless this year's revival in a mighty way.
• Church Camp for Teens (finishing 7th grade- 12th grade) is July 13-17. The cost is $100. Please sign up by June 21st.
• Church Camp for Kids (finishing 2nd grade -finishing 6th grade) is July 26-29. The cost is $90.
• If you keep copies of old bulletins, we need your help. We are looking for bulletins from 2024 and 2025. These can be given to Bro. Neal, Kevin or Heather Dunn.
Online giving for the church is set up and available on our website. If you have any issues, contact Camron Hurst.
Prayerfully consider the Bible reading project that Bro. Neal has presented to us.
