NBA Finals

The NBA Finals is the annual championship series of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Eastern and Western conference winners play a best-of-seven game set to ascertain the league champion. The winners of the Finals are awarded the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy, which replaced the Walter A. Brown Trophy in 1983.
The series was initially Called the BAA Finals before the 1949–50 year when the Basketball Association of America (BAA) merged with the National Basketball League (NBL) to form the NBA. The contest oversaw further name changes to NBA World Championship Series from 1950 to 1985, in addition to a brief stint as the Showdown, before settling NBA Finals in 1986. [1]
The NBA Finals was initially structured at a 2–2–1–1–1 structure. In 1985, to ease the quantity of cross-country journey, it was changed to a 2–3–2 format, in which the first two and final two games of the series were played in the stadium of the team who made home-court advantage by having the better record during the regular season. The two –2–1–1–1 structure was restored. The first two matches are played the higher-seeded team’s house, the subsequent two at the house of the lower-seeded team, and the remaining three are played at each team’s home arena . [2]
A total of 19 franchises have won the NBA Finals, with the Toronto Raptors winning in 2019. The Boston Celtics hold the record for the many victories, having won the competition 17 times, as well as the many consecutive titles, winning 8 times from 1959 to 1966. The Los Angeles Lakers have contested the NBA Finals the most times, with 31 appearances. The Eastern Conference has provided the most champions, with 38 wins from 10 franchises; the Western Conference has 32, from 9 franchises.

San Antonio Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs are an American professional basketball team Located in San Antonio, Texas.

The Spurs are a member of the Southwest Division of the Western Conference in the NBA.
The Spurs are just one of four former American Basketball Association (ABA) teams to remain intact in the NBA following the 1976 ABA–NBA merger and the sole former ABA team to have won an NBA championship The Spurs’ five NBA championships are the fourth most ever (tied with the Golden State Warriors) behind just the Boston Celtics (17), Los Angeles Lakers (16), along with Chicago Bulls (6). The Spurs possess a winning regular season record against every NBA franchise that is active, and now rank among active franchises to the greatest winning percentage in NBA history.
In their 40 NBA seasons as 1976–77, the Spurs have won 22 division titles. They’ve made the playoffs in 27 of the last 28 seasons (since 1989–90) and have missed the playoffs four times since entering the NBA; they haven’t missed the playoffs in the 20 seasons because Tim Duncan was drafted by the Spurs in 1997. Using their 50th win at the 2016–17 season, the Spurs extended their record for most consecutive 50-win seasons to 18 (the 1998–99 year was shortened to 50 games due to a lockout and based on their win percent of .740, could have easily surpassed 50 wins in an 82-game season, and thus extend the album by 2 more seasons). Therefore, because the 1997–98 season, the Spurs have had 20 consecutive seasons with a winning percentage of .610 or greater throughout the season that’s also an NBA record. The team’s achievement in this period coincides with the tenure of current head coach Gregg Popovich, who had become the team’s general manager before substituting Bob Hill in 1996.

UFC SWEDEN CARD UPDATES INCLUDING TONYA EVINGER VS. LINA LANSBERG

The Octagon returns to Sweden to Get UFC Fight Night 152, taking place June 1 in Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden.

Several new bouts have been added to the card, and they are listed below.
Christos Giagos vs. Damir Hadzovic, Fight Night 152
Lightweights Christos Giagos and Damir Hadzovic are set to clash at UFC Fight Night 152. MMANytt.com broke the information. Giagos (16-7) is 2-3 in the UFC over two stints in the promotion and is coming from a decision win over Mizuto Hirota. Hadzovic (13-4) is 3-2 in the UFC and is coming from a KO win over Marco Polo Reyes using a decision win over Nick Hein prior to that. Both men are middle-of-the-pack lightweights, but Hadzovic seems a big more polished and needs to be favored here.
Daniel Teymur vs. Sung Bin Jo, UFC Fight Night 152
Featherweights Daniel Teymur and Sung Bin Jo will battle UFC Fight Night 152. Teymur (6-3) is the lower of both Temyur brothers as he’s struggled en route to a very poor 0-3 record from the UFC which includes back-end submission declines to Julio Arce and Chris Fishgold. There’s no doubt he will be fighting to get his UFC job in this bout. Jo (9-0) is making his UFC debut after moving unbeaten with nine straight finishes on the South Korean regional arena. One knock against Jo is he has only fought twice since 2017, but his record is very impressive. I wouldn’t be surprised if Teymur was able to get his first UFC win, but according to Jo’s masterful album on the regional scene that he should most likely be preferred here.
Stevie Ray vs. Leonardo Santos, UFC Fight Night 152
An intriguing lightweight connection between Stevie Ray and Leonardo Santos can also be place for UFC Fight Night 152. Ray (22-8) is 6-3 at the UFC and is coming from a decision win over Jessin Ayari that snapped a two-fight losing skid. There were lots of high hopes enclosing the Scot when he initially came to the UFC, but overall he’s been unsatisfactory inside the Octagon and he hasn’t completed a fight since 2015. Santos (16-3-1) won TUF Brazil and overall has an extremely impressive 5-0-1 record within the Octagon that comprises a KO win over Kevin Lee. But, Santos is now 39-years-old and hasn’t fought since late 2016, when he chose over Adriano Martins. He hasn’t lost a fight since 2009 and is riding a 11-fight unbeaten streak, but the three-year layoff is clearly not a good sign going into this bout. Still, I believe you have to favor Santos just due to how good his album has been over the past ten years against an inconsistent opponent in the form of Ray.
Tonya Evinger vs. Lina Lansberg, UFC Fight Night 152
Also added to UFC Fight Night 152 is a women’s bantamweight bout between Tonya Evinger and Lina Lansberg. Evinger (19-7, 1 NC) is 0-2 at the UFC with back-to-back knockout losses to Cris Cyborg and Aspen Ladd. The prior Invcita champ has been quite disappointing at the UFC thus far but has fought really hard competition, which should be a winnable struggle for her. Lansberg (8-4) is 2-3 in the UFC and is coming from a decision loss to Yana Kunitskaya. She has shown toughness from the Octagon, but that is about it. Both are elderly fighters to the division but awarded Evinger’s experience I expect her to be a small favorite here.

Boxing Odds Explained

This page reveals chances for bets. These are stakes where you pick the fighter you believe will win the battle.
Boxing chances generally appear something Apollo Creed -200
Rocky Balboa +180
This means that Creed is the preferred and Balboa is the underdog. Favorites always have a minus sign (-) until their chances and underdogs have the plus sign (+). In this case if you had $300 to play , you could throw all of it on Creed and if he wins, then you would find a payout of $450 — your $300 is returned, plus your winnings of $150.
On the other hand, if you had faith in Rocky and think he’s going to win, a $300 bet would net you a payout of $840 — you’d get your original $300 back, along with your winnings of $540.
Our Odds Calculator can help you ascertain how much you would win based on what you decide to wager.
Our boxing odds page shows you the opening line, which is the original betting line set by oddsmakers, followed closely by the lines in popular sportsbooks. Prediction time: Penn State-Ohio State breakdown

They don’t wish to recall their last trip here to Columbus. For that matter, Penn State players do not want to live on the past year’s double-overtime thriller either.
Odds are the Nittany Lions won’t behave like they did in 2013, a 63-14 reduction. Odds are that they probably will not shut out the Buckeyes from the second half just like they did in 2014.
Regardless, the Lions haven’t been overly eager to reminisce about game this week.
“We lost,” senior captain Jordan Lucas stated. “That’s exactly what I recall.”
That are the common denominator there, yes.
What chance do the Lions have this time around against the No. 1 team in the surveys, the defending national champs who have never lost a regular season Big Ten match in four years under Urban Meyer? Slim, albeit better than it seemed a week ago.
By the sounds of things, the Lions are going to the Horseshoe in better health than they’ve needed for the last month. That should imply players like Saquon Barkley and Angelo Mangiro are back in the lineup along with all of the typical faces on defense. Even Adam Breneman got in his first regular repetitions with the crime this week following a week to the scout team to return to action.
The Buckeyes haven’t always lived up to their No. 1 ranking through six weeks, tied or trailing Virginia Tech, Northern Illinois, Indiana and Maryland at halftime. Nonetheless, it’s hard to imagine them coming out tired for this one, with a packed house in primetime.

ASK COUSIN GABE: UFC FIGHT NIGHT 110 EDITION

“Request Cousin Gabe” is an article at MMAOddsBreaker.com where I answer questions from readers. If you want to ask me a question, regarding wagering, any upcoming battle cards, or MMA in general, please email it to budosophy@gmail.com and make certain you include your title and location.
In this edition, I cover UFC Fight Night 110 in Auckland, New Zealand.
What is your fav prop for FN110? -V, Los Angeles Currently, Mark Hunt in Round One (+375) provides the best value, in my opinion, as I feel that’s the most likely outcome to that heavyweight matchup.
After Lewis knocks out Hunt, does he get a title shot or that Francis Ngannou combat everybody is talkin about?” -Baltimore, Tiger, MD
As I mentioned in my answer to the prior question, I’m of the belief that Hunt will place Derrick Lewis off in this competition. However, if Lewis come out victorious, I wouldn’t hate either matchup. Cain Velasquez is recovering from injury, thus there is no real No. 1 competitor. I’d understand seeing Lewis jump straight to a title shot, and I would also know him being pitted against Ngannou in a title eliminator matchup. As I said though, I do not expect that to be a realistic problem, as I believe Hunt will finish his losing skid with a knockout victory in Auckland.
Hello, sir. What do you think of my Lewis, Cutelaba, Elliott & Volkanovski parlay? Thanks. -Stuart, Del Rio, TX It definitely has possibility of hitting they are four gambling favorites in the end. However, like I said in my answers to the two previous questions, I think Hunt will win that struggle. As for Cutelaba, I prefer him to win but believe he is too overpriced at his current offering price of -290 to utilize him to get a parlay piece. I believe Ben Nguyen is a live puppy in his matchup against Tim Elliott, which struggle is a no bet for me personally. I am simply playing with the Over in that you, also Volkanovski of course I enjoy a lot. In conclusion, I really don’t like the parlay, but I can see it hitting.
Thank you for your questions and contributions to this article.
